Luciano Chessa and His Intonarumori
December 13, 2013; 7:30 p.m.; Gallery BRSVP on Facebook
Programmed by Sarah Cahill
Take a sonic plunge into the rapidly industrializing cities of early twentieth-century Europe. Come hear Luciano Chessa’s modern re-creations of the seminal "noise instruments" of the Italian Futurists, designed to produce music that mimicked the modern cityscape. Chessa is currently touring this show as The Orchestra of Futurist Noise Intoners.
The Orchestra of Futurist Noise Intoners is a Performa Commission.
5:30 RE@DS: Jaime Cortez, Sara Larson, Serena Le, Julien Poirier
