Graduate Student Speaker: Micki McCoy

Micki McCoy is a first-year Ph.D. student in Chinese art history, focusing on transcultural exchange and the art of China’s border regions. She holds an M.A. in Art History from UC Davis and a B.F.A. in Sculpture from Pratt Institute. From 2004–2006, Micki worked as an arts writer in Shanghai, where she covered contemporary art in the city. She will speak about a selected work from the exhibition Assignment Shanghai: Photographs on the Eve of Revolution.
